  • Hi all

    Hi guys,

Richard here from the UK and just wanted to howdy, hi, hello and G'day.

A massive fan of all things abandoned and derelict and here in Richmond in London we have plenty to explore and one of the most famous abandoned building close to me is Latchmere House.

"Originally built in the 19th century as a private dwelling, during the First World War (1914-1918) Latchmere House was used by the Ministry of Defence as a hospital for treating officers suffering from "shell shock". During the Second World War Latchmere House was used as a detention and interrogation centre (known as Camp 020) for enemy agents captured by MI5. Many members of the British Union of Fascists were held at Latchmere House during this period. They included the environmental pioneer Jorian Jenks".

I have never been lucky enough yet to get to some of the abandoned subway stations in London but I am working on it :-)

    Cheers!

    Rich.
